LIETZOW was born on 27 Jan 1839 in Prussia. He came to the United States in 1885
and lived in Genoa for 24 years. He was married to Henrietta Wilhemine
Reinke on 26 Jan 1865. They had nine children. She died 12 May 1907
in Genoa, Illinois.

Andrew Lietzow died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. William Duval, 430 Prairie street following a short illness.
He was born January 27, 1839, in Germany and came to the United States 40
years ago. He lived in Genoa 24 years, where he was a member of the Lutheran
church. Five years ago he moved to Elgin.
He is survived by four children, Mrs. William Duval, Mrs. William Genaknow
of Genoa, Otto of Elgin and Andrew of Batavia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home
of Mrs. Walter Brendemuhl at Genoa and at 1:30 o'clock from the German Lutheran
church at Genoa. Burial will be at Genoa. Friends may view the body until Saturday
morning at the Wait-Ross-Allanson funeral church. He was buried on 28 Feb 1925
in Genoa, Dekalb, Illinois.
