On the third of the month the path to the river remains very passable. These elk tracks were found in a muddy section of the trail near the river. Lots of pink salmon should be showing up within a month.
The dirt bike tracks are on the King County side of the river. The rider seemed to be looking for something before spinning out of the deep sand and heading back up the hill.
